As you know, about 4 months ago, VGL Solid Group was welcomed into Ligentia Group. Since then, we have been working at pace to help our customers unlock new value from their supply chains as a result of this combination. We’re incredibly excited about taking the next step in our union which is all part of our plan to continuously improve our support and services for you.
As one organisation, we are now beginning the process of uniting under the Ligentia brand.
How this supports our goal to find a better way for our customers
Customers are facing increasing complexity in managing their supply chains. Over the last 25 years, Ligentia has expanded across borders and matured alongside customers, scaling and diversifying to meet your growing needs and ambitions. This ultimately led to Ligentia’s acquisition of VGL Solid Group at the end of last year. Uniting under the Ligentia brand we will further accelerate our ambitions to grow in Europe, increasing our visibility and service offering, and strengthening our overall capabilities.
We have never been more committed to creating a diverse, customer-focused and responsive global supply chain management business and we believe that the right approach to this is by investing in Ligentia as our global corporate brand.
What happens next?
We have already started the processes to phase out the VGL Group brand, starting this last week as our colleagues in Poland transitioned to Ligentia’s technology network. This is an important step for us as a business, as it means we can act from an IT perspective as one company. There are more changes coming soon, and so you will start to see the VGL branding less and less as the year progresses, and the Ligentia brand more in the key channels we use, such as on social media, in our collateral and in our warehouses and offices.
For our customers in Poland, please be assured that this does not change the contracts you have with VGL Solid Group or any of its entities, and the legal entity will stay the same. There will also be no impact on how you collaborate with your points of contact in the business.
This is an exciting time for all of us at Ligentia as we continue to expand to deliver smarter, more innovative solutions for managing sustainable, flexible and resilient supply chains.
