We’re on a mission to transform the way people interact with our platform, and we’re looking for a passionate and talented Product Designer with experience working in design systems to join our team.

Our design team is currently small but expanding; our product design practices and workflows are still in their early stages of development. This presents a unique opportunity to join a growing team at a key time, play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and expansion of our product design department, and shape our platform at an important time, all within a global organisation.

Role Overview:

As a Product Designer in our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user interface of our platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to redesign our platform and establish and maintain a robust design system that ensures consistency, scalability, and usability across our entire product ecosystem. Your work will have a direct impact on our users’ experiences, helping them engage with our platform effortlessly and seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design visually engaging, consistent, and responsive user interfaces that align with our product and usability principles.
• Contribute to the evolution of our design system, maintaining a cohesive and user-centered design language.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and fellow designers to ensure the smooth integration of design principles into the development process.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organisation.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, and introduce them into our design processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a UI or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your experience.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software. We use Figma.
• Experience working with and contributing to a design system.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of components, patterns, and interactions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think critically, solve tricky design problems, and provide elegant solutions.
• A passion for user-centred design and the pursuit of high quality design.
