When we are onboarding a new customer, one of the key points of discussion is identifying the specific set of critical milestones for your supply chain. These will then be configured in Ligentix and serve as the foundation for exception management that will ensure that any supply chain issues are managed as proactively as possible.
Ligentix integrates with a range of ERPs including SAP, Microsoft Dynamix 365 and Oracle. This live data exchange allows Ligentix to ingest POs, distribute POs to your suppliers and provides automated SKU level visibility throughout the supply chain. Data feeds automatically sync between Ligentix and your ERP, for example, advance shipping notices (ASNs) are generated upon the completion of a specific milestone in Ligentix allowing you to see current stock positions throughout the supply chain, easing planning decisions.
Suppliers are fully trained on the customer’s specific processes as well as on how to use the supplier portal where they will book in all of their shipments.
When new POs are received by Ligentix, we automatically distribute these to the relevant suppliers and measure receipt and acceptance. We then oversee the activity at origin to ensure shipments are being booked, manufactured and handed over to us in a timely manner, including making sure that all documentation is in order. Our origin team also takes charge of quality control, so you can be sure the goods have been assessed for quality and accuracy before they start their journey.
During transit, Ligentix provides visibility of goods across all modes of transport, when it departs and when it’s due to arrive and highlights delays. Ligentix is fed with live feeds from shipping lines and ports allowing the latest ETA’s to be displayed and any appropriate action to be taken.
You can drill into a particular shipment to understand what is within it, or search by PO or SKU number to find out exactly where any particular item is across the supply chain, and when it is due to arrive at destination.
At the destination stage, we use machine learning and AI technology as part of our document management systems to reduce errors and speed up all customs procedures on arrival and remove possible human error.
Ligentix includes a detailed warehouse calendar to manage delivery bookings from the port to your distribution centres as you require them to meet inventory needs and minimise storage costs.
Packing lists can be downloaded directly from the warehouse calendar view for each container delivered, or we can integrate directly with your WMS for a more automated solution.
Ligentix can connect to your ERP Purchase Order system and in-house logistics infrastructure. Meaning you get complete end-to-end data and seamless supplier management from the moment every PO is raised, through to delivery and payment.
